The IDEAL home

 JESUS said:

Luke 10:5-6

King James Version

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter,

first say, Peace be to this house.

6 And if the son of peace be there,

your peace shall rest upon it:

if not, it shall turn to you again.

Bear note, we said, the IDEAL "home".

We did not say "house", for it is but a structure.

A home is something else.

What, do you think, comprises an ideal home?

We shall have a rundown, at random, except for FIRST on the list -- JESUS.

The PRINCE of PEACE must be in that home, and all will be peace.

Other things that make a happy home?

These come to mind --

Parents who love each other.

Kids who love their parents.

Parents who love their kids, but don't spoil them.

Siblings who love each other.

A family that prays together, has meals together.

A family who puts down their phones when they eat.

A family that makes time to listen to each other, and play together.

A family who lives within their means.

A family who's not into vanity, or image-consciousness.

A family who genuinely cares about others.

A family considerate of their neighbors.

All these is possible, if the family adores GOD above all.

BLESS your home with the PRESENCE of GOD.

He is the One that makes your home a "home".

It's not the trappings of wealth, prestige, or possessions.

It's not fully-automated homes that may be cool, but may turn out to be "cold".

It's not having CEOs or over-achievers in your home who look down upon others.

It's not having super-rich folks who hardly see their spouse, or children.

It's not having meals and talking about your latest deals, acquisitions, or success.

It's not getting so hooked up on your gadgets, you hardly notice each other.

Ephesians 6:1-4

King James Version

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord:

for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother;

which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee,

and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers,

provoke not your children to wrath:

but bring them up in the nurture

and admonition of the Lord.

When you have JESUS in your home, it will be a restful, love-filled, sincere home.

You are relaxed with each other, because there is no need to be who you're not.

There is love, truth, faithfulness, prayer, and acceptance, at home.

You have respect for your parents, and parents respect you.

Parents will instill GOD's commands in you.

Best of all, they live by those commands, too.

Love and rules will be gentle, but firm.

There is authenticity at home.

If you're born again, the kingdom of GOD is in you.

The HOLY SPIRIT is in you.

He is also in your home.

Build such a home.

Build a responsible home, worthy of GOD.

Let JESUS be the MAIN Occupant.

Let Him be your Protector.

Let every room be filled with His LOVE.

Let every corner be filled with His LIGHT.

Let every family member be filled with His LIFE.

Let food be the LIVING WATERS that is GOD, and the BREAD of LIFE that is JESUS.

Let SPIRIT be your Guide on how to know JESUS, how to love GOD, and others.

That's what makes a family.

That's what makes a home.

It's all JESUS.

And full adoration of GOD.

Exactly as JESUS taught us.

Many homes are steeped in darkness.

Let your home be a light in your neighborhood.

All these are easy to do, and understand, once you're born again.

John 3:5-8

King James Version

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth: so is every one

that is born of the Spirit.

QUIET resting places

Isaiah 32:18

King James Version

18 And my people shall dwell

in a peaceable habitation,

and in sure dwellings,

and in quiet resting places;

How would houses at PRAISE village look like?

Most important is it's a home offered to GOD.

Where family's safe, warm, and loved.

Where you share simple meals with friends.

Found some images to inspire us all.

Small, simple, serene homes.

Have a look at these:

MEALS with HEART

John 6:32-35

King James Version

32 Then Jesus said unto them,

Verily, verily, I say unto you,

Moses gave you not that bread from heaven;

but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

33 For the bread of God

is he which cometh down from heaven,

and giveth life unto the world.

34 Then said they unto him,

Lord, evermore give us this bread.

35 And Jesus said unto them,

I am the bread of life:

he that cometh to me shall never hunger;

and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

At PRAISE village, we eat in a spirit of love.

First, we thank our Creator, for all of the blessings.

Second, we thank GOD for our families, friends, and farmers.

Third, we pray that all have enough to eat, everywhere in the world.

We cannot enjoy meals unless those occur, and these verses apply:

Proverbs 15:17

King James Version

17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is,

than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Proverbs 16:19

King James Version

19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly,

than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Proverbs 17:1

King James Version

17 Better is a dry morsel,

and quietness therewith,

than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

Acts 2:46

King James Version

46 And they,

continuing daily with one accord in the temple,

and breaking bread from house to house,

did eat their meat

with gladness and singleness of heart,

No matter how humble the food, how simple the meal, how spare the resources, the true born again relishes every precious meal, in a spirit of love and gratitude.

ESPECIALLY if CHRIST is in our midst.

Food will be prepared, with love.

Our food will taste better, no matter how simple.

Our conversations will be kind.

Our homes will be filled with cheer.

That's how homes must be.

May you have CHRIST in your home.

Only He can bring love into a home.

And into our hearts.

The PRAYING village

Oh God,

don't let this generation pass,

without seeing your glory...

When revival comes,

the total environment is changed.

-- Leonard Ravenhill

PRAISE village is a praying village.

All people at the village pray.

Knowing without GOD, we are nothing.

Parents teach their children to pray.

To give thanks to GOD.

To know GOD's will.

To obey GOD.

To know how to love, as JESUS taught.

These verses guide a PRAISE village constantly:

Psalm 34:4-6

King James Version

4 I sought the Lord,

and he heard me,

and delivered me from all my fears.

5 They looked unto him,

and were lightened:

and their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried,

and the Lord heard him,

and saved him out of all his troubles.

Jeremiah 33:3

King James Version

3 Call unto me,

and I will answer thee,

and show thee great and mighty things,

which thou knowest not.

Matthew 26:41

King James Version

41 Watch and pray,

that ye enter not into temptation:

the spirit indeed is willing,

but the flesh is weak.

Mark 11:22

King James Version

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them,

Have faith in God.

Mark 11:24

King James Version

24 Therefore I say unto you,

What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,

believe that ye receive them,

and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:25-26

King James Version

25 And when ye stand praying,

forgive,

if ye have ought against any:

that your Father also which is in heaven

may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if ye do not forgive,

neither will your Father which is in heaven

forgive your trespasses.

Luke 11:9-10

King James Version

9 And I say unto you,

Ask, and it shall be given you;

seek, and ye shall find;

knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth;

and he that seeketh findeth;

and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Luke 11:11-13

King James Version

11 If a son shall ask bread

of any of you that is a father,

will he give him a stone?

or if he ask a fish,

will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg,

will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil,

know how to give good gifts unto your children:

how much more shall your heavenly Father

give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

John 15:7

King James Version

7 If ye abide in me,

and my words abide in you,

ye shall ask what ye will,

and it shall be done unto you.

Luke 18:1

King James Version

18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end,

that men ought always to pray,

and not to faint;

Luke 18:7-8

King James Version

7 And shall not God avenge his own elect,

which cry day and night unto him,

though he bear long with them?

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh,

shall he find faith on the earth?

Romans 8:26

King James Version

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for

as we ought:

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27

King James Version

27 And he that searcheth the hearts

knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,

because he maketh intercession for the saints

according to the will of God.

Ephesians 6:18

King James Version

18 Praying always

with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,

and watching thereunto

with all perseverance

and supplication for all saints;

Philippians 4:6-7

King James Version

6 Be careful for nothing;

but in every thing

by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving

let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God,

which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and minds

through Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

King James Version

17 Pray without ceasing.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

King James Version

18 In every thing give thanks:

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus

concerning you.

1 Timothy 2:1-4

King James Version

2 I exhort therefore,

that, first of all,

supplications, prayers, intercessions,

and giving of thanks,

be made for all men;

2 For kings,

and for all that are in authority;

that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life

in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable

in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved,

and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:5

King James Version

5 For there is one God,

and one mediator between God and men,

the man Christ Jesus;

James 5:13

King James Version

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.

Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

James 5:14

King James Version

14 Is any sick among you?

let him call for the elders of the church;

and let them pray over him,

anointing him with oil

in the name of the Lord:

James 5:15

King James Version

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,

and the Lord shall raise him up;

and if he have committed sins,

they shall be forgiven him.

James 5:16

King James Version

16 Confess your faults one to another,

and pray one for another,

that ye may be healed.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man

availeth much.

1 John 5:14

King James Version

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,

that, if we ask any thing according to his will,

he heareth us:

A GENETICS adventure

1 Peter 3:15

King James Version

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:

and be ready always to give an answer

to every man that asketh you

a reason of the hope that is in you

with meekness and fear:

Do Bible and science mix?

Of course, it does.

Before we were, GOD was.

He is CREATOR of ALL things.

How can we deny GOD His Creation?

We, at PRAISE village, honor the ONE, TRUE GOD.

Can science be taught biblically, and coherently?

How about on matters of history, creation, or races?

Is there a teacher out there who connects all these with GOD's WORD?

Schools of the world will always teach things of the world.

It's to be expected.

Here at PRAISE village we have the alternatives.

The HOLY SPIRIT led me to two astounding teachers.

Both are educated in human biology, and plant genetics.

Yes, folks, we shall venture into a genetics adventure.

You will love listening to these science teachers, who have much to teach us.

Biblical scientific education will never be the same again!

How I've waited, and longed for such teaching, and teachers!

GOD always saves the BEST for last.

I am happy to share all these with you.

It's never to confuse, but to fuse.

We've all been disjointed with what the world has taught us.

Or what the world left out.

Never again.

SPIRIT's on top of things.

ALL GLORY belongs to GOD forever!

John 15:5

King James Version

5 I am the vine,

ye are the branches:

He that abideth in me,

and I in him,

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

for without me ye can do nothing.

1 Corinthians 10:31

King James Version

31 Whether therefore ye eat,

or drink,

or whatsoever ye do,

do all to the glory of God.

Colossians 3:17

King James Version

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

PRETTY little house

Haggai 1:8

King James Version

8 Go up to the mountain,

and bring wood,

and build the house;

and I will take pleasure in it,

and I will be glorified,

saith the Lord.

PRAISE village has a simple concept:

To worship GOD alone.

We are not distracted by things of the world.

We like simple.

Thus, when I saw that PLAY house picture above, I was mighty moved.

My born again heart saw possibilities.

I imagined it on a larger scale, to house adults.

And kids, of course.

Thanks to the GENIUS creativity of Jen, a self-taught carpenter, and mother of two.

Sure, it's for kids.

But sez who you can't modify it, and make it for a whole family?

Connect with Jen, and she'll give you the plans for FREE.

That's the basic house design I envision for the village.

Just a simple structure, with a shed roof.

A warm, and cheerful structure that loves its occupants.

A home you'd love to come home to.

A home, with heart.

Add areas for living, dining, kitchen, bath, and a bedroom, or two.

Depending on how big a family is.

This play house design could also serve as shop, or office, for people at PRAISE village.

Who wouldn't want to go to work in a perfect, little structure such as this?

But definitely at PRAISE village, we have tiny homes.

Suffice it to say, I've finally found my dream home.

And it had to be a play house.

The roof will be slanted like the one above, shed-style.

Transom windows and front window will catch the sun every morning.

Ingenious, for it gives you additional peeks of light.

Position the main entrance to catch the morning sun.

This way, the house will be bathed with natural light, and give cheer to its occupants.

Apart from being able to save on unnecessary use of electricity.

That's always how I've imagined a house to be, having taken up architecture in the past.

I'm a simple thinker, with simple needs.

As born again, I've gotten even simpler.

I like what John the Baptist said about CHRIST, and himself:

John 3:30

King James Version

30 He must increase,

but I must decrease.

A tiny house, a basic one, will help discipline born agains into worshiping GOD, instead of being caught up by possessions.

And yes, we keep those circular windows.

Our houses may be simple, but each house is filled with:

GOD's LIGHT

GOD's LOVE, and

GOD's WISDOM.

I can envision such houses populating our PRAISE village.

Our community church will be that way, too.

Won't houses look the same?

All the better.

Families only need to put their own colorful curtain, or put favored plants on the wooden boxes.

Every house has the same natural wood exterior.

It's more economical to build shed roofs, for rain will flow down one side only.

Long-span roofing sounds good.

I've seen too many complex roofs that create leaks.

Our homes are for GOD, and families.

Not for show, or luxury.

We're too busy living GOD's TRUTH.

To have a FREE plan of this pretty play house, click this link now.

You can always build bigger, and taller for adults.

Just have the heart of a happy child, and the HOLY SPIRIT will surely fill your heart with ideas.

Dream with GOD.

Everything starts from small things.

Let it be a play house for GOD first.

We, perpetual kids, ALWAYS build for GOD first.

For we have no doubt who we serve:

Joshua 24:15

King James Version

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord,

choose you this day whom ye will serve;

whether the gods which your fathers served

that were on the other side of the flood,

or the gods of the Amorites,

in whose land ye dwell:

but as for me and my house,

we will serve the Lord.

I thank the HOLY SPIRIT for leading me to Jen's play house, which tickled my five-year-old heart, to share with you.

P.S. What is it about KENTUCKY?

I learned Jen is from Kentucky.

I also realized I had featured a simple log home before.

Also in Kentucky.

I have a basic book on the U.S.

So, I search for "Kentucky".

Predictably, it's a child's book.

Now, don't remind me about the fried chicken.

Also, I learned Jen's a Christian.

GOD really brings His people together.

I'm in AWE.
